Downtown Millville in Gig Harbor enthusiastically welcomed it’s newest restaurant on Harborview Drive with rave reviews from all! We walked down to find all the tables full, with room only at the bar, where there was a nice selection of on-tap and local craft beers plus wine. A feeling of celebration was in the air as owners John & Aly Ross opened the doors for wood-fired pizza at its best. All the pizzas are named after local boats, as a tribute to the heritage of the town. Although they still were serving pizza, they had been inundated with to-go orders, and were out of to-go boxes. While we were there, Aly’s smile, along with all the employees, warmed the room, while John helped with the cooking of the pizzas – nearing the end of what looked like to be a long, but successful FIRST day. We split a Home2 & Meaty with Prosciutto – it was DELICIOUS with great crust! Just another reason why I love living in downtown Gig Harbor!
