This week's neighborhood spotlight focuses on the tranquil neighborhood of Cromwell. Cromwell is located on the southside of Gig Harbor, just 12 minutes away from the popular Uptown shopping center, State Route 16, and Tacoma Narrows Airport.
Cromwell offers spectacular views of Fox Island, Hale's Passage and Wollochet Bay. Cromwell Drive, which runs along the shores of Hale's Passage and Wollochet Bay is a popular biking and walking route that loops the neighborhood. In our opinion, it is one of the most scenic and picturesque drives in Gig Harbor. Located nearby are two elementary schools, Artondale Elementary and the Gig Harbor Academy.
In the Cromwell neigborhood, we have two very unique listings. Nestled on a low-bank acre of waterfront on Ford Drive, the "Sunshine Coast", this 5,253 square foot home is bathed in an incredible amount of sunshine, along with spectacular views of Mount Rainier and the Sound.
Also in Cromwell is this darling cabin, located right on the shores of Wollochet Bay, on 48th Avenue. Featuring vaulted ceilings, a huge deck, and a knotty Mahogany interior, this 780 square foot home also includes a shared boathouse and spectacular views of the bay. Watch the sunrises from this private getaway or kayak and sail on the bay.
So be sure to head to Cromwell and check out the area, and be prepared to have your breath taken away.
